Comment passer à côté d'un monument aussi magique que celui-ci quand on habite seulement à quelques kilomètres et qu'il fait partie intégrante de notre paysage quotidien. Le Mont St Michel est également réputé pour sa baie qui abrite une grande variété d'animaux qui va des oiseaux aux moutons en passant par les mamifères marin comme une petite colonnie de phoques d'une trentaine d'individus qui ont élu domicile dans la baie. Sur cette photo ce sont les moutons qui sont à l'honneur. Le goût fin si célèbre des agneaux de prés-salés vient de l’herbu des grèves où pâturent les moutons en pleine liberté broutant une végétation parfumée composée de plantes halophiles. On en parlerai des heures mais le mieux c'est de venir en Baie et d'y gouter...

It's incredible how this unmistakable shape is an inspiration for so many beautiful photos. Good the light in the foreground and correct side-placement of the abbey in the background.

All my life I've never heard of this place until recently and here on TE and I think I'm in love with it. It seems just like a magical place and one day I hope to visit.

I really like your different approach to it by showing the silhouette and its cropped nicely. A very nicely done photograph.

(it does seem that your sheep in the foreground have a bit of a glow from a dodge tool or is that the natural backlighting?)

Great shot! The sheep-run as an foreground for this amazing castle gives great perspective. I like soft light here as well.
