Photographer’s Note
The Kiwi Fern, the embleme of New Zealand.
Spring is in the air now here, and finally our fern are looking happier with new growth coming up!!
The 'Koru' design often seen in traditional Maori carvings is derived from the shapes of these unfurling fronds.(from LordPotty)
This is a mix of 2 pictures as it was taken with a 300mm and no tripod so I couldnt get both leaves in focus.

Hey,
A really nice shot of this fern. The colours are beautiful - and with a warm glow too. The focus seems to be in and out on the fern - in focus here and there.
Cheers,
Dave
