A touch of pink Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is a view of Istanbul at evening while I was crossing the Bosforo in a ferry to the asiatic zone of Istanbul to see the sunset from there.
Unfortunately, at this moment the sun was high enough and I dind't catch a spectacular sunset.
I've sharpen, increase shadows and added a touch of pink to make a little bit different this typical landscape of this wonderful city.
I hope you like it!

Wonderful light you captured here. The city really glows in warmth and the boat that is passing by gives a nice touch to it which make the whole composition very pleasant to look at.

The pink tones really give a warm feel to this citscape shot, and the effect of your enhancements is natural and very pleasing. The boat adds a nice dynamic element too. I love the dreamy quality of the shot.

Voila une belle photo d'Istanbul, vraiment tres bien structurée.... Il y a de la vie et la lumiere est évidemment séduisante quoique tu en dises... Je ne trouve à ta composition qu'un défaut, c'est ce titre qui me semble bien trop envahissant... Félicitations tout de même...

La silhouette de la ville est superbe.

Ta série d'images sur Istanbul est vraiment réussie. J'aime celle-ci particulièrement pour ces superbes teintes de coucher de soleil. En plus de la lumière et des couleurs, la composition est très bien vue et le bateau placé à l'endroit idéal.

Vero,
no excuses here! The shot is perfect as it is!! The light and colors are wonderful, right on spot, providing the real atmosphere and mood. Intersting contrast of the modern ships in the foreground and the silhoutte of the city that seems to be ancient. Nice placement of the Galata tower on the right side and the minarets of some mosque at the left side.
