| Another shot from lovely Meerberg. The body of water is lake Konstanz. Where I was standing was in Germany and across the lake was Switzerland. If you look carefully in the background you can just see the Swiss Alps. The crops in the bottom left corner are grapes. This area of Germany is a big producer of wine, specially white wine. I had the opportunity to try some wine and I can say it was very good ;)....unfortunately I did not have time to buy some to bring back home :( |

Hey Francis, good how you've managed to encapsulate so much in one shot. The sky, the lake, the foliage and the vineyards combine to make it a bit more panoromic than it at first appears.
Very nice, Francis. Lake Constance (or, in German, "Bodensee") is about 1½ hours from where I live. I like your colorful wide-angle view here because it really manages to depict a lot of the essential elements: the vineyards, the village, the beautiful blue lake with some boats to be seen, and towards Switzerland the scenery turning into a more alpine one. Great catch!
P.S. By the way if I'm not mistaken, the place should be called "Meersburg" ;-)
