Photographer’s Note

The charming town of Stykkishòlmur, the largest on the Snaefellsnes peninsula, is built up around a natural harbour protected by a basalt island. The shot is taken from the top of this little island, near a small red lighthouse.
The picture is composed by three shots, stitched with Autopano Pro.

Perfectly laid out shot! The land curves right around the bottom of the frame and ends up leading us right toward the city. I like that long horizontal frame too, which is ideal for this shot. Nice work!

ciao Matteo, una bella immagine che merita assolutamente il formato panorama per apprezzarne tutti i dettagli...
E' davvero ben composta, con le case colorate tutte nella parte alta e la strada che guida l' occhio al panorama alto..
