Photographer’s Note

The beautiful cast bronze Charioteer of Delphi is older than the ruins themselves. He stands in incredible detail, you can see the folds in his robe, his fingernails etc - he was thought to be made in 470BC, but these are all that are left of the reins used to hold his four horses.
