Photographer’s Note
Piódão is without doubts one of the prettiest villages of Portugal. Classified as listed property from 1978, it benefited thus of some protecção.
But only from its integration in projecto of the Historical Villages of Portugal, the Piódão saw its safe urbanístico set kept.
That is, into the scope of this program all the houses in cement and roofs of roofing tile will have to be converted into walls of shale and roofs of blackboard. Thus one only values the arquitectónica wealth of the Piódão and its reference as patrimónia to preserve. Projecto is currently in the final phase
