Photographer’s Note
“Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your Creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self-starter. Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don't waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail.”

Hi Salma,
Excellent foggy composition, with interesting climate of city wakening to life. I like division of frame with completely black lower part, foggy center and lighted up sky with interesting clouds.
Good work!

Maciek

I like this monochromatic picture, with the skiscrapers shaded by the fog. I would maybe crop the bottom of fthe frame, the darkest part.

A beautiful "awakening" photo, with the blues absolutely mysterious and calming. And yet daylight is promised from the upper left of the photo... Love it. I like all the black at the bottom, I think it balances the sky.

Salma,
Impressive, dark, misty cityscape rising from black to blue. I like the photo - it seems rather at odds with the message of your note - perhaps you are being ironic? Either way, I like the shot.

Hello Salma,
The mood of this photo is wonderful. I like the different layers, and the way the buildings mysteriously poke out of the fog. The blue tones are beautiful, and the frame you chose really compliments the composition.

Salma... I have no words (once again).. You have a wonderfull gift to match your pictures with words, even if they are not your own words, you simply make them work out beautifully with your images. I can tell you I was knocked out only by your picture, and when I read the message you chose to go along with your mystic image I started to feel like my soul was traveling at the speed of light. I swear this is true. I felt like a shooting star going up instead of comming down. I got chicken skin, I trembled, I felt like a particle of dust traveling around the universe.
As for the picture I have no words to express how wonderfull it is. It's another one of those I could hang on my bedroom wall at stare at it for hours. No kiding, my dear Salma.
Thank you, thank you, thank you...

this would make a great book cover, maybe a mystery novel involving a guy searching for a long lost treasure in a forgotten world!
colors, composition and most of all your theme is FABulous.

hi Salma, AMAZING shot of Manila, I have been through this bustling city many times, and you have really captured it in a different way, this doesnt even look like the typical hectic Manila Scene you usually find on TE, This one is beautiful, everything from the mysterious fog to the Skyscrapers peeking through the top of the fog.
Thank you for sharing this with us Salma, im looking forward to many other great shots like this!
Mabuhay Ang Pilipinas! :)

it was like an aftermath of a nuclear bomb (because the bdlgs don't look straight at alll, they'll like rugged)
and yes, you could have cropped the lower part because the black border on top looks like "floating" in the image...
