Photographer’s Note
What a wonderful place is Venice. This view of the Campanile and the Doge's Palace is taken from a vaporetto on the canal.
In this photo I have corrected the perspective of the Campanile and also saturated the image to make it like Fuji Velvia.
The following is from Wikipedia:
The Doge's Palace was the residence of the Doge of Venice and contained the offices of a number of political institutions, arranged around a central courtyard. The first floor was occupied by lawyers offices, the Chancellery, the Censors and the Naval Offices. On the second floor were the Grand Council chamber, the Ballot chamber and the Doge's apartments. The third floor boasts the Sala del Collegio (adorned with paintings, including those of several Doges, and Paolo Veronese's Lepanto) where foreign ambassadors were received.

Good composition and colors. But the problem with midday shots is that the sun is at its harshest. You may want to reduce the midtone contrast by playing with the Shadow/Highlight feature, to soften the palace front.

Hello Garry,
Congratulations for this photo. This is a very often photographed building but this time we can see it from a not so often used POV. The colours and the saturation is great.
Thanks,
