Photographer’s Note

This is the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Boa Morte (Our Lady of Good Death). It's small but it's one of the most beautiful churches in Miranda do Corvo, a small city situated not very far from Coimbra. It's situated in the centre and it's baroque style but in the same place there used to be another one dating from the 16th centurya.Around the former church that used to be a yard where people from outside the city were buried when they died here.

Linda captura desta Igreja, escolheu um otimo ângulo, gostei da porta entre aberta deu um toque todo especial nesta compo.Excelente definição, boa luminosidade e as cores espetaculares. Otimo trabalho.

Nice pic as usual, in Spain and in Mexico the Baroque churches looks very ornamented in the facada but in the interior too, this looks more plain, in side is differet?

I like som mcuh the onctrast of the blue sky and the tiny botoms of flowers. I like the position you use to took this pic and the datail of see the door just a little be open, is like invite you to go inside.

The blue sky is my favourite, and here it has given you a positive balance to the subject in frame.

Nõ sabia que existia essa Nsa Sra da Boa Morte. Fui procurar a respeito dela aqui no Brasil e vi que está muito relacionada com os escravos no período imperial.

Sua foto possui boas cores e nitidez e uma boa luz. O corrimão da escada é que não me agradou muito, mas pelo menos ocê nos mostrou a igreja de boa forma.

Vi um pequeno banco de pedra do lado esquerdo da foto, acredito que uma foto em diagonal pegando o banco em primeiro plano e a igreja logo atrás também dê uma boa foto. Se for uma foto em PB as árvores sem folhas dará um efeito bem dramático.

Olá Anabela,
the upview including the last stairs is a good choice to work against a centered view as both sides are different enlighted. The branches around create a wonderful framing for the nice facade of that church (I will add it). Good contrasts, the white is a bit too hot I think.

Olá Anabela, esta está muito bonita. O enquadramento central está perfeito, mas o que o que realmente enche a vista é o contraste com aquele belo céu azul. O corrimão da direita não ficou perfeito mas é um detalhe de menor importância. Os ramos à volta também ficaram muito bem. Gosto muito.

What an amazing blue sky; the colour is so intense and it shows of the beautiful architecture with such dramatic effect. The branches of the trees fill in the space above so well.It's a pity about those harsh, modern handrails that don't seem to match the splendor of the architecture.It is such a simple and strong image. Hi Ana,
I like the curvy shapes on the facade of this church. Its whitenes makes a great contrast with the deep blue sky above.
I also like the church door that are slightly opened as that immediately provokes my curiosity :)
Your point of view could have been almost perfectly symmetric if you stepped few more centimetres to the left, but that's just a minor flaw ;)

Será que só em Portugal é que há Nª Srª da Boa Morte, Cemitério dos Prazeres, etc?
Gosto de ver a capela bem centrada na imagem.
O corrimão do lado direito é que "estraga" um pouco a vista da fachada.

Realmente Ana, a igreja é bem parecida, o formato das janelas os contornos da porta, até o vitral entre as janelas.
Essa sua foto está muito bonita, lindo céu e as árvores nas laterais.
