Photographer’s Note
Sky or Heaven?
After following Dante in his quest of his beloved
Beatrice I was lucky to bring mine safe to the surface.
We didn't have the chance to see the nine spheres
of heaven but as the sun set we saw those two
birds flying high in the sky. A lucky presage I hope.
Paradise?

Hello Henry,
I took a short respite from writing to check TE photos coming in. And this gem, I am delighted see, was posted this morning. What a spectacular sky this represents. The brilliant light in the center of the clouds acts as a counterpoint to the warm colors on the horizon. Moreover, my coauthor and Ihave been writing about Danté among the Humanists preparing the way for the Renaissance. Thanks for uploading this photo when you did.
By the way, in my last photo that you reviewed, King Farouk's Last Abode, the King was wrong. Belgium still has a King, so do most of the Scandinavian nations, and Saudi Arabia, and Thailand...
Warm regards,
Bulent

Salut Henry,

Bonne nuit
Pierre
