Skyride to Grouse
Misty mornings... Cozy feelings!

This is the skyride, a 10-minute gondola up all the way to Grouse Mountain, Vancouver's favorite hill getaway. I say 10-minutes, but thats really quick for such a long climb.

Atop the mountain, theres fun for all: a hiking trail up to the tip of the mountain, Lumberjack shows, Bird Show, Lookouts and ofcourse the most often visited grizzly bears...

This picture was taken when I was waiting for my return down to our waiting bus. I managed to get two people on the LHB corner, gazing at the rising gondola.

Hi Nivas,
A good foggy shot with atmosphere. Head-on POV was well chosen, it's fun to see how details disappear to the cloud.
I've been there, it seems that clear panoramic views to downtown Vancouver are rare.

Dear Nivas,
The misty atmosphere is very well rendered on your shot.
The two persons on the foreground is quite usefull and gives a size impression.

Cozy?! Nivas, is that really what you felt while hiking in this weather? I would be pretty upset with a weather like that. Damn it, there goes all the photography opportunities. Well, it seems to me that it didn't bother you a lot. You still got a good and engaging shot. Scary to see how that huge red gondola comes out of the fog ready to bump into you. I like the couple staying there in the left corner. It gives a good balance to the gondola.

i think i have an upload of the same Grouse mountain skyride.
you very well captured the this lift in action. the foggy and misty BG withthe centrally placed subject are amazing to look at.
