This is a photo of the famous rock formations called the twelve apostles. There are actually only eight apostles left due to erosion. You can still see the remains of the one that broke down in 2005. These rock formations were formed by the erosion of the original coastline. The coastline consists of limestone and about 2cm of it gets swept away each year. If you have the chance you really should rent a car and go up the great ocean road from Torquay to Warnambool. The twelve apostles lie just outside of the town Port Cambell on the great ocean road. This picture shows two of the apostles and I have also uploaded another picture of the other ones.

About the picture:
This is an HDR-image made from 6different exposures to get the right depth. I've also applied an un-sharp mask, increased the contrast, reduced some noise in neat image and the adding of my signature. Hope you like it :)
