Photographer’s Note

The National French Library (or BNF to go faster) a summer evening just after the shower. We came out from the cinema nearby and of course I got my camera with me, the luminosity was quite incredible, so I couldn't miss that...

I like these lines leading us to the towers. And the lighting is really incredible. Especially on the glass surfaces of the buildings. You got the nice reflection in the foreground, too. And backed by this really good sky. It's all very modern and very clean. I like this look. Very good job.

Great light. The composition especially - as Pamastro has written for the lines leading us to the towers - is very good. Perhaps it needs a slight rotation because the picture is a little tilted. I'd crop also the right part, but this is only an opinion. Good the contrast between the light on the towers and the dark sky.

Bravo ! Les couchers de soleil étaient effectivement spectaculaires ces jours derniers. Et puis... heureusement qu'il existe TE pour diffuser des images de la TGB parce que la presse en est privée (autorisations obligatoires et droits de diffusion trop importants !). So... merci Jérémie !

Belle photo d'un lieu qui se prête à la photo pour peu qu'on ait le coup d'oeil. Bravo !

Je me souviens des débats passionnés que la construction de ce batiment a soulevés au début des années 90. On craignait le pire. Ta photo qui est superbe montre que les pessimistes avaient tort.
