Welcome Timothy,
You're right, always try to have your camera with you, you never know! And see... You made a nice catch!
Even though this shot could have been better with more light and cropping some of the foreground, but next time you'll have more luck. Never give up & bring back more shots for us!
(Please try to add which camera you're using)

I agree with Viviane, nice shot. If the foliage in front of the train was shorter, it would help also. Having riden one of these infernal things for 35 years, I'm aquainted with the subject. Might add your camera if it's convenient for you.

Excellent train shot. Trains are hard and even to harder when they are moving. I would just crop the bottom and the right just a little bit though,

Nice Timothy, I do like your photo very much. You can post it larger by reducing the quality some. The difference is hardly noticable when posted but the larger posting is well worth it. Thanks and God's best to you, Tim

Good capture of the train with the impression of coming out of the fields. Very good, but why the little format? And some background light had been ok, take a look at the WS and see if you like it
...Sorry, maybe you should consider open for Workshops in your profile? (Didn't see that you had closed for WS before now)
