Photographer’s Note
I went to Zhongdian (Yunnan province in China) because I wanted to have a "taste" of Tibet before I try the real one...
I saw the beautiful (and huge) countryside houses in Tibetan style and got desperate to see the inside. My guide fulfilled my wish.
This part is in the upper floor (they use the lower floor for the animals). This is the main room. It's kind of a kitchen and living room (no sofas). Note the cheese above the stove.
They are beautifully decorated, inside and outside. My guide told me that the Tibetans are proud of theis homes and their jewellery.
Later I'll post one of the inside and one of the woman who is the owner of the house.
It's a pity I'm not that photographer (I'll learn, though) and feel so shy to ask people for their pictures...

Hi Suely,
I really like the tones and details of this picture...it does what a pic is supposed to do on TE..bring another world to you..I understand yur motivation on getting the entire ceiling and the floor..but I feel maybe if u had stepped just 2 steps to the right and a few stepa back, you might have got a better picture...alternatively a wide shot followed by insets..posted as a series might be a good idea. I am a novice at photography but I feel the exposure is a little off..
Thanks for bringing this pic all the way from China..
Thanks for sharing
Preetie
