Photographer’s Note
I know that the quality is poor... The light was not that great, I was in digital zoom so the reslution is bad, and it is really fuzzy. However, I do like that this communicates something of the adventures I had on Guatemalan chicken busses. This bus was very crowded and colorful. I loved that these guys were decked out in hats and traditional clothing. That is why I still feel like posting this even though it is a mess.
If you dont know much about the Guatemalan chicken busses, they are a chaotic, but surprisingly efficient and VERY affordable mode of city-to-city transportation. They are all retired school busses from the US, painted bright colors with women's names and bible verses all over them. They exceed capacity and speeds that are legal in the US, and are probably horribly unsafe, but I could not think of a way I would rather travel.

Yes it's a bit under par in the quality department, but this is a fine shot in my book. TO me it does show a packed bus in Guatemala. If only you included some chickens it would have been a great photo. I have noticed you do have some great photos in your portfolio here on TE. I think you would be good in the area of street photography. When you can get out there and get close.

Brian
