Photographer’s Note
As we were travelling North from Richmond to Down Town Vancouver, I saw a plane coming in to land at Vancouver Airport. With the mountains and some cloud in the background, I thought it might make a good shot. And it did.
I zoomed in to the max (200mm), used a manual shutter speed of 1/200s and took the shot.
I have adjusted the levels of the clouds to get some more black into them.

Very well captured moment. From my experience Sony 828 is not the best camera to focus into fast moving object, but the result here is really good.

Excellent photo Behram. You caught the plane at just the right time. The dramatic sky and mountains add greatly to the picture.

Hi Behram
Nice shot I bet you didn't have a lot of time to set it up. It really looks as though this jet is landing in downtown......
Cheers

Hey Behram, very nice composition, like the connection of two means of transportation, road and aviation once. also nice clouds in the background making your photo very dynamic
