[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken while climbing an extinct volcano on an island off Wewak. The volcano takes up most of the island, is covered in lush rainforest, and inside the rim in a gorgeous lake. Under the rainforest canopy was mostly dark, but there were a few openings where light would spill though and illuminate jewels like this one.

The F5.6 aperture has reduced the depth of field such that the spider is out of focus. Also try to clone out or crop the light spot in the upper left as it is quite distracting.

Hope this helps.
