Photographer’s Note
I know he's not gray, but he is a Gray Treefrog (Hyla versicolor). For more of his story, see my other photo, a portrait with the girl who introduced me to froggie, posted at TrekLens.com.
I convinced her to put the frog on a tree so I could get pictures of him in his natural habitat. It's amazing how well he blends in with the bark, isn't it? You can learn more about these treefrogs at eNature.com and hear their call.

Wow, he does blend in despite the colour difference Kimberley. Good shot.

Wow - I'm from Ohio and have never seen this frog there. This is a really beautiful frog. The greens are so gorgeous.

Such a brilliant green! I like the natural habitat too (maybe should have included more?). I think you got a great detail, and I'm so glad you included the link to your other photo!

Hello Kimberley,
Nice shot. Good contrast between the green color of the Gary Treefrog and the tree. Sharp image of the frog.

Superb colours. I also thought that your other photo (with the girl and frog) was superb. Have a look at my take on a colourful little frog/toad I came across recently.
