Photographer’s Note
Here it comes in my mind the saying: "spirit can move mountains". In the heart of this huge nature no meagreness cannot exist.
While my look wander to the tops that are dying of red in the splendor of the evening, a yearning with no name flare up within of me and spreads unstoppable beyond the borders of my personal existence.
Hermann Keyserling
Another endless moment
spent trying to catch
the incredible quiet around.
The mountain is the Tupopdan (mt. 6.106)
also called the Passu Cathedral.
It was one of the reason I came here
... and it worth!

I like the contrast between the dark shadowed foreground and the bright sunlit mountains behind. Great sharpness and lots of diagonals leading the eye all around the shot. Good work!

Luca, great shot, the detail and perfect focus in the distance just jumps off the screen. Colors are good and the clouds add a lot. The snow field on the dark side of the far peak is a really wonderful detail, well seen and captured.

A great landscape Luca, the viewer wonders what lies in the valley there where the light seems to be emenating from.
Lights and darks are well balanced.

Hello Luca,
This is an amazing shot. The light is perfect and it highlights the details of the majestic mountain in its full glorry. Also, it was nice that the foreground is dark and the mountain far away is illuminated to give us a clear focus. It's amazing how many minor peaks that mountain has. It looks like it has teeth. Great photo.

Erdem

Hi Lucas,
A very good shot of the marvelous Passu Cathedral. Sunset here is beautiful and i like the shadows. It show how this montain is jagged.
Tones are warm and soft and the image is really sharp.

Hi Luca,
Wondrous place. Despite knowledge to the contrary I think I would have centered this magnificent arch like peak .. and I would have been wrong .. your position of the peak in the frame is like a focal lightning rod .. The Mountain emerging from the shadow is tremendous.
I cleared a spot in my favorites for it.
Mountains are symbols, like pyramids, of man's attempt to know God. Mountains are symbolic meeting places between the mundane and spiritual worlds. ~ Alan Chakmakjian Hovhaness - notes to Symphony #2 "Mysterious Mountain"

Bonjour, Luca.
Encore une superbe et tres impressionnant realisation sur ces montagnes qui cotoient les toits du monde. Le jeu des ombres, et surtout cette superbe lumiere qui jette de l'or fondu sur les sommets sont magnifiques.
Merci du partage.
