Photographer’s Note
Eliean Donan Castle is very picturesque castle located on a small island in western Highlands, near Dornie.
The first fortified castle was built in the mid 13th century. Since then, at least four different versions of the castle have been built and re-built. Partially destroyed in a Jacobite uprising in 1719, Eilean Donan lay in ruins for the best part of 200 years until Lieutenant Colonel John MacRae-Gilstrap bought the island in 1911 and proceeded to restore the castle to its former glory. After 20 years of toil and labour the castle was re-opened in 1932.

I like the pov, with the wall from the very foreground, everything at focus.
I think you should correct the fact that the horizon is slightly leaning. It can be done easily with any post production software.

hi Agata,
beautiful colours in this shot. I like the feeling of distance your point of view creates and how the stone bridge leads the eye into to photo. I have only two comments - a narowwer apperture would have given a greater deapth of field and the castle itself would be in focus. second, I think that including more of the stone bridge in the shot would enhance the feeling of "going into" photo. but still, this is a great shot.
best,
Kristine

Agata,
Wonderful composition using the bridge to lead the eye into the photo. The placing of the castle is great showing the expanse in front of it. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Agata,
your composition is a lovely one!
The low point you chose for shooting was ideal thus the perspective is great and have the bridge in front of the castle and the reflected sky on the smooth water. The details are too fine everywhere. Congratulations!
Athanasios.

Congratulations.
