Another photo from the trail to Hornlihutte

Hornlihutte is the mountain inn (visible as a small blip in the centre-left of the photo) where the Matterhorn climbers stay the night before the climb. The walking path to the inn is a popular hiking trail - it's a spectacular trail offering great views throughout - if one starts from Schwarzsee, it's an ascent of about 700 metres (2583 m.s.l --> 3260 m.s.l.)

Hello, Anil
Great photo of the great mountain. It reminds me on my winter holidays, except for the weather. I saw Matterhorn only a few times during a week.
It must have been some bad weather in the previous days because of the snow visible on the mountain.

the whole terrain looks so wild but I like it so much because I am a mountaineer. Your choice to include the girl was very good. The clarity, the perspective and the point of view you chose are perfect. Thank you very much for sharing.
