Photographer’s Note

Yesterday evening on the Lake Maggiore, on the Lombardian shore, looking south, on the beach of the small village of Bedero, between Laveno and Luino.

We spent the w.e. with my parents in their home on the lake, where they live many months from some years; our son is up there, to find some fresh weather and unpolluted air. There is also a big swimming pool, where he spent the most part of the day.
Now i'm in Milan, for the last 3 days of business, and my wife is in Antibes to rent our home for the August month to someone; our son is still on the lake with the grandparents...just 3 days and we'll have our vacation all togeather!

I wish all those three remaining days u can witness this kind of sunset.Lovely view.Particularly impressed with the orange tone in the sky, and the reflection on the water.Dont think,that the sharpness and the clarity is too good here, may be coz of morning haze!!!

Though it lacks a bit of sharpness, the photo is well composed and I really like the detail of the bird passing in front of the pink cloud. Just three more days and you will be on holidays. As for me, I only have one more sunset to go as I am taking off tomorrow morning. ;o)

Olá Paolo, it seems that everybody is leaving for holidays in August...but I know that TE will still be running like always :D In spite of the lack of sharpness, the detail of the bird on the right spot makes the image and the atmosphere fits well in this monday, just three days away from the most important month of the year ;-)

So August is the long expected, even craved for vacation time. I don't know how long yours will last (though i imagine your life as a whole of a big vacation, look at those places you've been to even at this age), but mine is only three weeks :((

I'll be in Wien and Salzburg, and i am looking forward to those days too. But my programme consists of lonely walkings and photo sessions, being with your nice family all during those vacation days should be something else...

Well, beautiful landscape btw :))

Saludi e trigu Paolo,
The besst asset of this picture is the detail of having the flying bird detached over the bright part of the cloud, not easy at all to achieve with a compact and probably involving some luck as well.
I wish you wonderful holidays on the dream island and now that you have a decent camera don't forget to shoot some photos, program Paolino to begin shouting just before sunrise ;-)

J'apprécie ce mixage des couleurs du soir, cela donne une ambiance de pais et de sérénité.
La vitesse était suffisante pour figer l'oiseau sur le ciel.
