Photographer’s Note
The picture is the corridor outside the entrance of the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion.
The mansion was the family house of Cheong Fatt Tze, a prominent Chinese Settler in 19th century. Before it was restored, Cheong's heir rented it out to many households till late 1980s. Cheong specified in his will that this perperty can be sold only after his youngest son passing away. It was sold to an investment syndicate who later become this a private museum with hotel facilites.

Hi El,
I like this photo. It looks to me like a calm morning before business. The colors and sharpness are excellent and your POV is interesting. The composition on corridor/avenue scenes like this can sometimes be too symmetrical but you've done well to avoid that and lead us to an off-centered focal point. Adjusting two very small items might improve this slightly for me. The door edges near the top left are slightly off kilter which is distracting. The other is the edge of the number to the left of '73'. I'd have probably cropped that out or cloned it in PS after the fact.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Cheng
I like the surreal HDR effect although it is far from being the natural colour of the actual scene. The man in this image adds a leisurely atmosphere and set the pace of this photo. Good crisp image. Well done!
