Photographer’s Note
When I was a child thought that in the other side of the ocean was Africa. If I always swam straight-line I could arrive there:-) I didn´t perceive that Rio is come back toward the South...
Here, I am in the top of Costão de Itacoatiara, a mountain on my favorite beach in Rio.

The expression "foot in Africa" (pé na África) is a joke way (and prejudiced) to say that somebody has blacks ancestral. Well, I - like almost all Brazilians - have my foot in Africa:-)

I like the sense of humor, from Swakopmund Namibia once. I looked West thinking: if I could well Brazil is not that far after all.
