I took picture this morning whilst walking the dog in a local park, the tree had shed its bark to reveal a stunning silver color and up against a clear blue sky looked pretty dramatic....

Richard good work catching this upward view with your camera. The tree befits the frame in a very nice way. Good work and thanks for sharing!

Hello, Richard--This one caught my eye as a thumbnail, certainly. Nice contrast, and you fill out the frame well, sending main branches to each corner. The DOF is nice, also.
Thanks!
sam

original perspective for this picture. Everithing is at focus due to the f/22. I like the perfectly blue sky.

Very cool Richard. This really shows what a Eucalypt is all about. Here in winter the trees lose their bark. Where I come from they lose their leaves. This is a great point of view looking straight up the trunk. The colour is awesome, and I love those contrasts, especially between the leaves and that dark sky. Your exposure worked out very excellent.

Thanks, John

Hello Richard,
Very unique and original shot, it's a good idea to capture it from the bottom. Very nice framing by the tree and the blue sky between make it more impressive. tfs

Hi Richard,
Amazing picture, I like the high contrast shot. The composition, DOF are simply fanstastic.
Cheers
