Photographer’s Note

Untere Euschels is a beautiful, quiet valley in between Schwarzsee and Jaun. I made this picture the same day as this one. I was quite surprised by the amount of flowers present. I had been before in the Alps only late July or August, and then many of the flowers are already gone. It was amazing, this colorful wealth of flowers!
The summit is the Chällihorn (1970m).

PP: adjusted levels, increase of saturation (slight), bottom cropped, resized, sharpened, frame added. All with Gimp.

I can't believe my eyes. What a splendid shot and a beautiful perspective. Its a superb composition.Aha!! I like your inclusio of the tree leaves on the top of the frame.
I did browse your gallery and I must say....I need to be a regular visitor to your gallery.

Hi Lia!
You're back... with pictures of my homeland! It's incredible, but you have the art to show spots which have a special significance to me. I'm a child of the region you show so I'm especially touched by it. You should see the flowers this year! Even more beautiful and numerous.

From the technical point of view I regret a little bit the too important almost empty part on the upper right side (sky) and the loss of details in the darks (trees).

Thanks for these marvellous impressions of that wonderful region!

Lovely work, Lia! The leaves make a natural frame, the pathway leads the eye deeper into the picture, you have a wonderful carpet of flowers in the f/g and splendid mountains in the b/g! Excellent!

J'aime bien la composition de ta photo avec ces diagonales qui nous invitent a nous promener partout sur ta photo, tant dans les champs de fleurs que sur le chemin ou les montagnes, l'avant plan vient combler ce beau ciel bleu.
