THE KING´S GARDEN.
Rosenborg Castle (SEE OUR PREVIOUS POST) Gardens are the country's oldest royal gardens and were established in the Renaissance style by Christian IV in the early 1600s. Today the gardens are a popular retreat in the centre of Copenhagen, and are visited by an estimated 2.5 million people per year. The gardens are home to a large herbaceous border, a rose-garden and a multitude of different-sized sculptures. In 2001 the garden acquired a new attraction, the symmetrical Renaissance garden Krumspringet, while for the amusement of children there is an artistic adventure playground which opened in 1998.

In the summer season the gardens are the setting for various musical and theatrical events, including a puppet theatre for children.

JARDINES DEL REY.
Como ya adelantamos en nuestro post anterior en el castillo de Rosenborg , en pleno centro de Copenhagen, se encuentran los jardines del Rey que merecen también una visita. Son 12 hectáreas en la que se encuentran escalonadas varias estatuas y pabellones.
En las grandes extensiones de césped se puede ver a los daneses disfrutando de su juego típico con varias bolas y palos de madera.
En los WS se pueden ver otras imágenes de los jardines.

Hello Joan,

You placed the statue of the lady lovely to the right.
Also the flowers in the garden care for a nice composition, together with your WS.
Maybe are the strong red frame not suitable by this nice picture, to strong contrast.
This is personal and very subjective.

Hola amics:

Ahir vaig criticar aquesta foto i ara veig que no s'ha publicat. devia fer quelcom malament.

Be, deia que totes tres fotos em semblen molt ben fetes i amb gust. Però com a naturalista que soc em quedo amb la del arbre que és molt original, llàstima que no hi hagués un escarabat verd penjat d'una fulla, jejeje.

Un lugar que me trae gratos recuerdos.

La posición de la estatua en el margen derecho de la foto, introduciendo las fachadas que se ven enfrente.
Muy buen resultado visual!

Hi Joan,
I tjink those flowers are rhodedondrons ... lovely to see them used as hedge/borders. Very pleasant setting with an impressive building in the background. Good positioning of the statue ... it creates interest but suggest to the viewer that it is just to compliment the real subject which is the garden itself. Well captured and composed. Well done! tfs
