Hi Jonathan,
very well captured and composed shot of a relaxing atmosphere. The timing was perfect and the boy is captured just when under the sunlight and before disappearing behind the corner. The alternation of lights and shadows is perfectly managed, without overexposures. Well done!

I think this is very good Jonathan, I like how you isolated the boy in the patch of bright sunlight.
Tighter framing would have improved it, in my opinion, going in closer on the boy and cutting down on some of the empty space on either side - a 3:2 portrait framing rather than the square format you went for here.
Nontheless it's well taken, and most of all, well timed.

tu n'étais pas loin de chez moi, tu as trouvé une ruelle baignée par une lumière divine qui donne un contraste de lumiére superbe, le gamin dans le soleil la cerise sur le gateau, beau travail

J'aime beaucoup à cause du petit garçon dans le fond qui passe devant le mur éclairé, ceal rapplle certaines vues des grands photographes des années 50 (amis alors elle aurait été en N&B). Trés bonne netteté dans les zônes d'ombre en dépit du manque de lumière.

Une belle vue de cette rue ! L'exposition est très difficile à réalisée dans ces conditions de lumière ! Ici l'HDR donne un excellent résultat et t'a permis de déboucher les ombres ! La présence du petit graçon est très bien vu et donne toute sa valeur à l'image !

Very well seen and captured. Great sharpness, colour and contrast. It's a very timeless image. By that I mean there are very few modern tecnologies and conveniences in the frame that would suggest 21st century. I like that in an old setting such as this. Including the boy himself. This could be a scene from 50 years ago. Very well done.

A lovely study of shadow & light. The timing was perfect with the kid just in the perfect place. I like your exposure control here. Cropping the left part could have allowed more focus on the boy, who's the centerpiece for sure...just a suggestion. Good work!

Certainement, cette photo-ci est bien plus parlante que celles des WS... J'aime bcp l'attitude de l'enfant qui boude, les couleurs sont tres belles aussi, peut etre aurais-je enleve une partie de l'avant plan mais encore, pas certaine ; tres jolie photo et sujet amusant,

Superbe photo avec ce petit garçon que nous suivons du regard. Les couleurs chaudes donnent une atmosphère agréable à l'ensemble. Il semble y avoir deux directions; celle de la rue qui part à gauche et celle du garçon vers la droite...Beaucoup de détails aussi.

A particularly striking capture. The lighting is absolutely spot on, as is the crop. Excellent quality too.

Il est vrai que ces ruelles sont belles , et pour l'image je préfère celle-ci car le petit garçon donne la vie a la scène, en plus pris dans l'éclairage du soleil c'est vraiment un plus.

Bonjour Jonathan,
Superbe cette série. Bravo car ce n'est pas facile d'attraper la lumière dans ces petites ruelles. J'aime beaucoup ton WS2 pour les façades qui sont extraordinaires pour les couleurs. Mais ce petit bout est tout de même beaucoup plus mignon que les adultes, aussi je te rejoins dans ton choix.
