sunda kelapa is better known as a wharf for the phinisi (makassar type of boat) this port found it's way from the voc era. where old remenant of the dutch colonies still exist. now still working as a port. is really just another tourist attraction...

Great composition and colors. Alot of cropping involved but you did it well. The woman's "pose" looks great and I especially like the contrast between her hat and the boat behind her.

Agree with you John, Utama has certainly successful in making us see the boat as a background prop instead of the subject. The man (?) sits there resembling an actor on a stage. Clever.

That's an excellent idea, very graphic, very stunning. You composed it OK (even if I would have preferred a non-white left upper corner to have more contrast) but except that it's a really great shot.

I like the different colors and the way it slides up. The person in the picture gives lots of life to this shot. Very well cropped.
