[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The start of crossing was quite rough, tearing the grand piano loose from its moorings and sending it skating toward us. The pianist stopped its course. A woman on the other side wasn’t so lucky; she got hit with a falling speaker. If you look carefully, you can see a lighthouse outside the window of the Crow’s Nest. You might not guess that the singer, Roberta Gambarini, was clinging desperately to the piano with her other hand. She delivered a suprisingly good performance, even though, after the show when we saw her in the passageway, she admited having been quite uncomfortable in the motion of the ship.

Hi Larry
I found you trough Pat.
Same style... I guess...
It must be not easy to keep performance (singing) with a seasick..
Great sharpness.
I like it

Hello Larry,
I agree with Rui about your picture, you have captured so well of using the light. The singer looks great although she have some problems. I like the different (blue) colour from outside the ship, it's really contrast. Very well done Larry, i like this picture.

Hi Larry,
What a unique photo to see the pianist against the waterfront scene. Well framed with excellent light mangement. HLJ, Pat

The turbulence in the Nest cannpt be seen in the image. Everything seems to be under control her. The piano still, the pianist inspired and the vocalit recollecting to give the next melody through her coval cords. The sharpness is quite striking - it is very crisp ... and yes I can see the lighthouse's light. Good composition and moment, Larry!

Hi Larry,
What an atmosphere! Great composition, details, beautiful colors, especially the blue background. Of course we can't notice the singer's seasickness, but I can imagine it.
Regards,
F
