Hello Silke,
I have just loaded up the gallery to see this beautiful sea-scene! Great shot! I'm really sad that you have to have an enforced break but I'm sure you will enjoy it! Think of all the shots youwill be able to accrue! Anyway, back to this shot ... it's so serene! Created by a wonderful pov, soft colours, gentle ripples and no noise(mechanical!)

Hello.

That's a beautiful sailing ship that you present here, and most of all, you perfectly managed to capture the very nice atmospheric conditions. This picture is amazingly sharp and cristal clear!

I like the crop and composition that makes the picture rather dynamic.

wonderful marriage of colors... this is great. I also like the boat.. I reminds me of Christoph Colomb's Caravelles ! The reflet in the water is also nice and the crop with this boat not in the middle ins interessant. Good job, have a nice day

This works well Silke - there's a nice balance between the ship and it's broken up reflection, and your framing has left plenty of space for it to move into.
The tilted horizon is a bit of a shame, although correcting it would have been an easy matter, but I think the excellent light, and the effective overall simplicity of the shot makes up for it.

The warm glow and the reflections is absolutly amazing. The placement of the boat whitin the frame is just perfect.
The horizon line doesn't seem to be in complete level, but it's really nothing to worry about anyway.

You didn't mention the brain, Silke. The rest of me is OK, hand, wrist, arm etc. I hope you don't have to rest those parts for too long. Not after a delightful shot like this one. The water looks absolutely blue velvet-like and the boat is nicely placed in the frame. Nice, gentle colours and soft light. Really good.

this is a joy. I really love the look of sailing boats and ships and remember as a child drawing those little ships called clippers that transported tea around the world. The silky pale gold of the sails and their reflection created by the late sun is lovely. And your composition is spot on too.

j'aime beaucoup cette prise pour ses couleurs chaudes dans les voiles, mais qui se reflètent aussi dans les flots.
Un cadrage astucieux qui donne beaucoup d'importance justement à ces eflets.
Une mer très calme.

J'aime la position du voilier dans le cadrage vertical,ceci permet d'avoir le reflet entier de la voile.Les autres paramètres sont justes.

What a wonderful clear shot in the golden sunset! The reflection looks as though it' slowly going down to the bottom of the ocean, the sea is so calm the yacht hardly seems to move. A perfect relaxing moment in luxury!
