Photographer’s Note

This very pretty district is a realization of the Catalan architect Ricardo Bofill.
On 40 ha replacing the old polygon of operation of the army, this whole of neo-classic style combines the modern techniques of construction :
concrete prestressed with the ton of the stone and search for a rigorous and gigantic harmony.
One can thus observe there a profusion of entablatures, pediments, pilasters and columns.
Trade, residences, utility services are side by side there.
And the research of the harmony shows through until in the details of the pavement or the street lighting.

Hi Jean Louis,
Excellent night and architecture photo. Perfect sharpness and light management. Including the sitting figures is a good idea to give us the size of the building. I like the curved structure a lot.

A good night-time shot of this impressive which, indeed, presents a very harmonious façade. I like the inclusion of the bar which adds animation and nicely counter balances the main subject. Good tones and clarity.

C'est une très belle prise, place du Nombre d'Or, où je trainais encore aujourd'hui à la recherche de la petite surface n'ayant pas encore été photographiée, située probablement sur les toits. Très belle réalisation.

Wonderful night shot, Jean Louis. Very noise-free. Great exposure too. My only suggestion is although I love the composition, it feels a little bit "tight" to me, maybe a bit further back or a bit wider would give it a bit more context.
