Photographer’s Note
This picture is 90 deg rotated, I sent in WS the original frame.
I hope that I picked the right frame for presentation, because if you look carefully at the picture, you can see an intersting face in the combination of the rocks and their reflection.
The picture was taken in a place that called 'E'in Um Tzalach' in the Negev.
The meaning of this is: E'in=spring, Um=the mother of, Tzalach=name of someone, it is in Arabic.
The Negev usually is a hot and dry place but there are few springs or rain water pools, the water that you see in the reflection are rain water that coudldn't pass the hard rock.

Yes indeed, this face is very impressive and you framed it very well, Elroyie. Your exposure was also very good. Bravo!

Great idea with the rotation, Elroyie - presenting it that way really conveys the impression of looking into a face of stone. The textural details and the play of light are very well rendered, and it's interesting how nature created an almost perfect symmetry axis between the two halves of the "face". Well seen, thanks for sharing.

The rotation changes the whole perspective of the picture, very well seen, though I still love the reflections of the original.

A harpy Eagle from the Philipines! Go check, and you will see it is the face of this very beautiful raptor. I like the 90º turn here. There is anothe face on the left too, but that of a gargoyle.

Rotation is an excellent idea, Elroyie : One would say the head of a monster came straight ahead out of a fantastic tale. Technically, sharpness and reflexion on the water are perfect!
Thanks for instructive notes too.
