Photographer’s Note
We visited the Rocky Mountain National Park for the first time. The views were just awesome despite the clouds, rain, and hail. The road through the park took us over 12,200 feet so a bit of bad weather wasn't unexpected.

Hello Julie,
Welcome Back!
Even though the weather looks terrible you have captured what gives the name to the park, those great pieces of colorful granite...

It certainly shows off its namesake "Rocky" Mountains. Even with the bad weather this is a lovely shot, showing off more of the beauty with the rocks and wildflowers too, well done.
