[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture shows a Palmato Gecko. This Gecko lives only in the Namib Desert, an endemic Gecko species. He's a nocturnal animal, during the day, he's laying under the sand in the dunes. Therefore, it's recommend that the fotosessions with this animal take not too long!
Typically for the Palmato Gecko are the webs on the feet. With this webs, he's able to "swim" in the dunes.
The Palmato-Gecko is a very cute animal ;-) and not big, perhaps 10-15 cm.

What a great picture of a beautiful animal! The clarity of the Gecko is great. Good job!

Hi Annette;
Excellent sharpness and light. The shadow adds to the composition. I can feel the heat...
Cheers;
Jernej
