[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dunes at the Great Sandsea in Egypt. The Sandsea is a part of the Western Desert of Egypt and the Western Desert is a part of the eastern Sahara, known as "Libyan Desert", but the Egyptians don't like the term Libyan Desert, and therefore, they call this part of the Sahara "Western Desert".
In the early morning (and I mean really early ;-) ), the dunes shine in the first light in a marvellous red and orange.

I would have to say that the sand dunes are among the most photogenic elements around. I love the light and shade game giving the picture an almost 3D effect. I wonder how early in the morning you had to wake up to get here this early.
Welcome to TE also!

Interesting patterns.
Color of the sand has came out nicely.
At the far-end,the exposed light reduces the sand.
It should have been avoided.

Thanks
Nara

Excellent light reveal fine textures in sand. Warm colors suggest heat. Nice work Annette.

Not bad what you are sharing with us here at Trek Earth.

Auch wenn ich die Bilder aus der FC schon kenne, schön auch hier was von Dir zu finden. ;-)

LG E.
