Photographer’s Note
Walking from the columns of the Appian Way into the city, you can reach Piazza del Duomo which contains the XVIII century façade of the Cathedral, the beautiful Palazzo del Seminario and the so-called ancient portico of the Hospital of the Knights of Jerusalem of which you see the ceiling.
In the ws another view.
Hope you'll enjoy it.

Ciao Stella , credo che se avessi usato una sola arcata per questa foto avrebbe avuto una resa migliore , così crea confusione nello sguardo .
ripeto e' una mia opinione.

Hello Stella,
A beautifully composed shot with excellent lghting, revealing the details of the stonework. The resolution in the photo reveals the barrel waulting and even the wedge-shaped keystone. As the Crystal Serenity sailed just east of Brindisi I could not not write a critique on one of your recent photos. The note is also succinct, but informative. Tomorrow morning the ship anchors off Taormina, and by the evening sails north toward Sorrento.
Warmest regards,
Bulent

Hi Stella,
Well composed image with nice and clear details on the stones.I like the the shapes and lines and the smooth tone of the colours.I like this type of shots, gives the opportunity for a different look and also and artistic approach to the old buildings and monuments...

Ciao Stella, bella serie di volte a crociera, penso che Giorgio abbia ragione, con una sola arcata sarebbe stata più efficace, ma è bella anche così, buon week end, ciao Silvio

Ciao Stella,
excellent capture of these arches of the ceiling,of the Hospital.I like the light that creates beautiful details and make known the interior colours. As i see the light out of the arch is very strong.Well done.
Have a nice day,Danos

Cara Stella
io non sono daccordo con gli altri. Un pattern degli archi da un dinamismo forte all' immagine. I colori sono stupendi e ben saturati. Complimenti e buona domenica ihsan

you know already how much Greeks love Italy in general, i love the informations you give about this photo, but the subject as well. I think same kind of architecture in Greece we have in Dodecanese and in Cyprus as well, galantis

Cyclamen,
I do like this image. This is an attractive architecture as well as the point you chose for taking the shot. The clarity and the light management are great! I suppose that the architects had to be proud of their construction. Very well done, Stella.
My kindest regards,
Athanasios.

Ciao Stella,
Strong shot of architecture.
Most people only look at "shopping-windows-heigth", so when I walk with friends or family through an old town, like 's-Hertogenbosch or Maastricht, I often say that there's more/a lot of history to be seen above then in the windows. You proved my right.
Thanks,
Henri
