Another from my series at Curlew Point, Killough.

Curlew Point is a small bay between Dundrum and Killough in Co Down. Further back along the coast is murlough nature reserve and the seaside town of Newcastle. St Johns Point Lighthouse can also be seen from this spot. Slieve donard and the Mourne mountains can be seen in the distance.

Thanks for looking :)

WOW!!!! This is an intense color palette, intense composition. It looks more like a painting than a photo. Wish I could give you more than points.

Cheers,
Enrique

A beautiful scene, Gary! The wide angle of your sigma creates a feeling of vastness, while the detail and color on the rocks in foreground is fantastic. The 2s exposure dreamy effect on the sea complements the atmosphere well. Well done!

A difficult image to appreciate at this small size such is the amount of detail in the foreground, such a shame it cannot be viewed bigger. However, it is enough to see that it is quite a striking image with great depth and excellent light.

Hi Gary,

Wonderful unusual sensation I get from this .. the low clouds .. silver water .. stark stone .. converging on that horizon create a vast yet claustrophobic sensation .. I think the darkness plays into it as well.

very nice.

John

It's an incredible view...like always!
Great color matching and contrast...details and clearness are perfect...
