Photographer’s Note

The Servalar river flowing through the Kalakad-Mundanthurai Tiger Reserse. This part is among the most scenic in the park, the the river flowing through the valley, surrounded by rain forest and cloud kissed hill tops. Many south Indian rivers originate in these mid-elevation mountains, and are essential for supporting people in the drier plains below.
