Photographer’s Note
A single bulb went to the wrong field here. Photographed in the Lisse Poelpolder in the bulb-field region located about 10km from the sea between Leiden
and Amstedam. Lisse is a village in that region that is often considered to be the center of the bulb field region. The well-known tulip themepark/museum Keukenhof is located there. Besides this site it is also worthwhile to walk or better take a bicycle (which can be rented e.g. in Leiden) and enjoy the tulip landscape around this village. There are may bicycle ways here, which makes the bicycle a favorite option. Besides tulips, there are also windmills to be seen and water-birds that enjoy the many small canals between the fields.
Photography:
I used a polarisation filter and relatively low exposure time. The photo was made in the early
evening.

Salut Mike!
Amicalement,
Emilius
