Hello Caleb,

A wonderful people shot; very cultural and offers an insight into the life of such persons. I like the crop, esp. where it intersects the wok. By showing this to us you are able to portray the diet, chores, clothing and living areas of the residents. The burst of colour from the woman's clothing is a great componant and compliments the colourful food. The image boasts plenty of detail and is of exceptional clarity, light and contrast. Well done.

A very nice, daily life shot. I like the way the compostiion cradles her in the curve of her pot.Culturally interesting too, she is wearing a Buddha Rupe (Buddhist amulet) and a puja red mark, suggesting Hindu. She probably Buddhist of the Vodriane sect. There are a lot there. I suppose that Pokhara is one of the few places in Nepal where one can get any decent food. Anything is better than Dhal Bhart; her noodles look OK. Really enjoyable picture! Regards kevin
