Photographer’s Note

Part of my southampton travelogue.
I made these 3 shots while in the landing phase at Brussels Airport. I'd like to have the smoke when tire hits the ground but it was too fast for my slow Ixus. Anyway, I like the sequence made by these pictures at different altitudes. In the last one, you can see we've touched the ground since the wheel is rolling. I kept the left bottom part of the window in each shot in purpose.
PP: 3 raw shots resized to fit 800 pixels wide. For each original shot: levels/curves adj. and USM then a 2nd global USM on the whole stuff

Très bonne idée, qui nous change de ces photos du ciel avec l'aile de l'avion... Un peu d'originalité, ou un autre point de vue. Voilà qui est très bien vu et réalisé.

Très bonne idée de présentation, je trouve. J'aime bien tout ce rythme. Et, dans l'ensemble, toute la série sur les vues d'avion.

C'est une idée superbement originale et une belle réalisation. Pour avoir beaucoup pris l'avion, je me rappelle que ce n'est pas ce que l'on regarde le plus à l'atterrissage. Ici, c'est vraiment avant, pendant, après! Bravo! Claude

As a relatively frequent flyer, I'm always taking pictures out of plane windows - I find them fascinating - but it never occurred to me to try what you've done here. Excellent idea and well executed.
