Photographer’s Note
Clouds over Capri.
This is the most extolled of all the Parthenopean islands and the most loved by the elegant and cosmopolitian public. Capri lies about 17 miles from Naples and is less than 3.5 miles from Punta Campanella located on the coast of Sorrento. It is 6 km long and 3 km wide. Marina Grande is its port. The Greeks reached it in the VIII century B.C., but its most successful period was that of the Roman emperors Augustus and Tiberius who built sumptuous villas here.

Very dramatic shot with that big dark cloud over the rock. Nice POV. I would suggest using shadows/highlighting tool in Photo Shop to make it just a little more dramatic and brighter without loosing the effect you've captured.

Fabulous contrasts between light and dark here: very dramatic indeed!

Hi Gil. A great spot and capture of very dramatic lighting conditions. The light on the white buildings against the rocky and verdant green backdrop is wonderful - and the clouds are immensely strong. A beaut. Regards, Paul.
