hello,
Very nice photo, great compo and the b&w is perfect! I like the static position of the first boy, the mood you feel ...great one !!
greetings, inn

Hello Fusun,
For sure one of the most interesting picture I saw last in TE.Beautiful as a composition with strange black and white tones, but the expression of the boy made this image.Very cinematic and sensitive shot!

Fabulous composition Fusun. The child in the foreground is perfectly positioned against that patch of blank wall and is so sharp as to leap from the frame. The expression is great with the eyes cast down - obviously aware of the boy behind but desperately trying not to turn round. The tonal range is excellent and the crop superb. Best regards, Roberto

This is just splendid, Fusun, terrific shot fully exploiting the emotive poiwerof FAR and NEAR, the near bo's expression out of this world and great timing to catch the reaction from the cyclist behind. Really great stuff!
Love,
Francis
Merhaba Fusun,
TE'ye kustun sandim uzun zaman yok olunca ortadan! )) Cok guzel bir fotograf bu, eski Italyan yonetmenlerin filmlerinden firlamis gibi. Demek arkadaki bacaksiz Kucukkoy'un mustakbel Ted Bundy'siymis ha?

Great shot Fusun! The facial expression of the main subject really tells the story. I love the way you composed it, playing greatly with the background and showing the two kids in perspective at the right places. What an emotive image. I'll take with me into my children theme if you don't mind.

I love this composition because of its big balance, you knew how to work with talent the sharpness and the tints... Congratulations and sorry for my poor english... I will come back tomorrow...
Kutluyorum...

Very impressive, atmospheric shot. Nice story well ilustrated. Great composition and great use of light sepia. Like it very much. Greetings T.
Great shot, and a great story to go with it. The square crop fits this photo very well. I really like the boys dark sweater and the way you positioned him in the frame so that there is only white wall behind his head. This makes him really stand out well. The expression on both boys faces is intriguing, but the boy looking back is really quite amazing. I love it.

Ryan

Hi Füsun,
Very nice, sensitive shot! Great capture of the specific moment. The boy indeed looks as if it was scared by the other boy. The sad truth is, that even children can be really hard sometimes.
The information about Kucukkoy are very interesting. Next time you should give us some more though. The small part visible on your photo looks very beautiful, although the old house is not in the best condition. I guess, this village is not located next to the sea. Or am I wrong?
Regards
Andreas
So bosnian in Turkey... Have you read "A bridge over the Drina" by Ivo Andric? How are you dear Fusun. I love this composition, it has an advertising mood but at the same time full of true. The B&W fits perfectly well with the story you are telling us.
Take care Fusun.

Hello Fusun,
This is the first time I actually go through your gallery and you have splendid shots... I love your portrait full of authenticity and realism. Very unusual and quiet difficult to capture... I have picked this one cos I love the expressions of the 2 kids, the background with speaks out loud where the picture was taken and where those kids are coming from. It is a very very nice double portrait... bravo!
I will be back and see more.

Hi Fusun
Love it.
I like this glance and this expression of fear. The note makes me smile because this little boy wants to protect you from this "bad boy"

Hi Fusun,
Powerful Shot!!! Very impressive and compelling!
I remember my visit on your gallery almost exactly one year ago, on your photo "Samode 5" and since then, your too rare appearances were never synchronized with my own presence, but Im so glad to find you back, with your amazing talent!
This image is absolutely unique, I cant believe it! I really like the play between the two boys and the distance that separate them in your image. Both are perfectly placed, particularly the one in the forefront, just between the door and the window. I think his expression make all the photo; you cant predict or coach this kind of behavior, totally spontaneous!
The aesthetic of the background also contribute to the beauty of the picture, full of textures and nostalgia. The subtle touch of sepia is brilliant and relevant to the mood of the scene.
Best regards,
André

Hello Fusun,
I lost myself in your gallery. Oh! Don't worry. In a so rich gallery, it is a pleasure to get lost! :)
I've chosen your last photo, but I could have chosen many others. I can say that you have a unique eye, which is one of the highest quality you can have, in my book!
Perfect timing here. I would not change one pixel from this photo. Not a single one! The cornered eyes of the foreground kid, and the look and smile of the one in the back, so well timed! Good choice of aperture, whatever it was. And the background wall with the holes, the cracks, the wires, the door and the windows.... Everything is just perfect. ... Damned! :))))

;o) fusun,
good to have you around here from time to time - there are certain people that make TE an interesting place (even if virtual) and you know you are one of them, right?
i know this photo well, therefor it was strange to realize i haven't left a few words, even though i was 100% sure i had.
the look on the (foreground) boy's face is priceless - so many emotions, from fear to caution and all in between ... and helps us 'translate' (exactly as you'd want us to) the look on the other (background) boy's face ... a very well directed 'little movie' and of course appropiate black&white conversion - well done!
stay well,
dora

This is a great shot that really tells a story, Fusun! I can just see your friend's discomfort with the bad boy (with the cocky, brash expression on his face) in the background. Every boy, and many girls, have to put up with a few "bad boys" during their youth, I guess. Children are not always innocent--they can be brutal. Regards, Ken.
