Photographer’s Note
I love street photography because I find that often I am forced to shoot at odd angles so as not to appear obtrusive. That is what happened with this image and resulted in the tilt of the frame. Perhaps it works, perhaps not.
The image is of a typical shop in the China town area of San Francisco. Many of these shops, along with the shopkeepers, have been around since long before I was born. In a city abundant in both history and mystery, the China town district probably exudes the most of each.
