Photographer’s Note
Ha Ha get this, its a tomb, get it!
Cut into the colourful sandstone the Nabatateans buried their dead in some of the most amazing architecture the world has seen.
Definately a place to visit, I have seen Petra four times and would always go back, recently the Jordan government have spent alot of money improving the site and I must say it has been done very tastefully.

Hi Simon,
Very interesting site ... the patterns in the limestone is quite amazing ... like a marble. However, the right hand shadow and the chopped hole at the top does not do justice to the photo because it is a bit distracting. You possibly be better off cropping them off ... that way the viewer will focus more on the beautiful pattern of the sandstone. But overall, the image has good clarity and contrast. Good job! tfs
Cheers,
Renier
