Photographer’s Note
This was taken across the lake at Hallstatt with my old camera. The white balence went wrong, but i like the "spooky" effect it gives.

well, one of the situations when defect turns into effect :) i like the colours, i like the multiple layers in this photo - fog, lake, houses, trees. and as far as i'm concerned it's not spooky at all. on the contrary, i find the blue hue soothing and calming. anuway, nice "mistake" :)
best,
Kristine

Hey James, this is a great photo! Excellent blue wintery tones, slightly grainy and nice light on the roofs of the buildings. TFS, Garry

I say hooray for "broken" white balance settings then. The mood created by the combination of the blue tones, mist and bare trees around the buildings is great.

Hi James,
SPOOKY! This photo just remind me about the legend of Count Draculla. Good job, not bad for an old camera.

jamil
