Photographer’s Note

Two kids outside their parents' shop in Battambang city. They had just returned from school, and the girl immediately started doing her homework, while her brother seemed to have some more urgent day-dreaming to attend to. How very typical. They were both so absorbed by their thoughts that none of them paid any attention to the photographer.

Hi Gert,
First of all, the motive is well positioned with the black parts are all in good balance. Secondly, it is a fine photo of two children unaware of the photographer.

Ha haaa I knew what elementary school they study.
It is "Dec 2nd" elementary school.
I was borne in that province, this picture made me miss my home place a lot.
